Good afternoon Otter Families,

I have tomorrow's meet information outlined for you below. If you had signed your swimmer up for this event and can no longer make it, please reach out to Reese ASAP so we can get you removed from the line up. This will help us consolidate the events during the meet and prevent any on deck confusion. 

Location: 40607 Lenah Run Circle; Aldie, VA 20105

Parking Details: There are several parking spots in the pool parking lot. Cars are allowed to park on the shoulders of the roads, but you need to pull your car fully onto the shoulder of the road, observe the no parking signs, and lastly please don’t park near the intersections as it makes it difficult for residents to see oncoming traffic. Additionally please be sure to obey speed limit /stop signs in the neighborhood.

Entrance instructions: Our team area will be outside of the pool area; a space will be blocked off in the grass near the emergency pool. Please bring chairs to sit on.

Theme: Brady BKind Blue Out- This is an anti-bullying foundation that was set up by the parents of one of their swim team members after his passing. As all our suits are blue, the swimmers will be “in theme” but if parents could also where blue, it would be appreciated.

Timelines:

Arrival- Otters need to arrive no later than 5:15PM so they can be set up in our team area and ready for warm ups.

Warm Ups- 20-minute warm up from 5:35-5:55pm

Offical & Timer Briefings- Official briefings will occur at 5:30pm. Immediately followed by Timer Briefings at 5:40pm.

Meet Start- The Meet will start promptly at 6:00pm

Parent Viewing Area: The Stratford parent viewing area will be between the shallow area & the baby pool. Please bring chairs. They will put out what they have, but I am sure there are not sufficient chairs to accommodate all. We ask that all parents in this area help keep children out of the shallow area of the pool as we do not have guards on the stand.

Concessions: Concessions is located inside the pool area near the main entrance. They will have Chick-fil-A sandwiches, pizza, granola bars, candy, and other regular assorted concessions items. They will also have coffee, soda, gatorade, water, etc.… Cash and cards accepted.
