Hello Otter Families,

As we wrap up our last week of the swimming season, we are excited to host our yearly Mini & Young Otters end of season Mini Meet! This fun event is designed to celebrate everything our swimmers have learned while giving them a chance to experience a smaller version of a swim meet in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Our goal is to help prepare swimmers for future team meets by introducing them to the sights, sounds, and flow of a swim competition on a much smaller scale. We will have coaches in the water, along with kickboards available for the swimmers who need them. A starter, referee and timers will also be present so the children can become familiar with the meet environment and procedures.

Each swimmer will be invited to swim or kick one length of the pool (25 meters) at their own ability level. The focus is on building confidence, celebrating progress, and of course having fun. We will wrap up the event with ribbons for all swimmers and a few sweet treats to celebrate. 

We are so proud of how each of our Otters have worked hard, and grown over the summer and can't wait to cheer them on during our mini meet!
